At its meeting of 10 November 2009, the Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole S.A. duly noted the intention of Georges Pauget, Chief Executive Officer, to stand down from office as of 1 March 2010.
The Chairman, René Carron, proposed that the Board appoint Jean-Paul Chifflet, currently Secretary General of the Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole and also Chairman of Crédit Agricole Centre-Est regional bank, as his successor.
His proposal was adopted.
