Paris, September 1st, 2009
Calyon, the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Crédit Agricole Group, appoints Youssef Khlat as Managing Director and Global Head of High Yield Capital Markets. Based in London, he reports to Tim Hall, Calyon Global Head of Debt Capital Markets Origination.
He will oversee the origination, structuring and execution of high yield bond issues for Calyon's clients located around the world.
Youssef, 46, is joining Calyon from BNP Paribas (BNPP) where he was Managing Director, Head of European High Yield Capital Markets and Deputy Head of European Leveraged Finance. Prior to BNPP, Youssef worked at Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust. He brings with him 23 years of investment banking and debt capital markets experience, much of it in the high yield arena.
Aged of 46, Youssef is graduate of Harvard Business School and Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Boston, USA).
