Françoise Debrus joined Predica, the personal insurance arm of Crédit Agricole Assurances, as Chief Investment Officer on 2 March 2009.
Françoise Debrus began her career in 1984 as head of farm production and economics at the French Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. She joined the Crédit Agricole Group in 1987, starting out at Unicredit, a subsidiary of Caisse Nationale de Crédit Agricole, where she served as inspector and then assignment leader at the General Inspection and Audit Division before taking over as head of financial management and management audit.
Moving to Crédit Agricole S.A. in 1997, she was appointed head of organisation at the Capital Markets Division, and then head of deposits and loans at the Finance Division. In 2001, she joined Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole as head of finance and tax.
In 2005, she was appointed chief financial officer at Ile de France Regional Bank.
Françoise Debrus, 48, is a graduate of Ecole Nationale du Génie Rural des Eaux et des Forêts and of Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon.
