Isabelle Job-Bazille has been appointed Chief Economist at Crédit Agricole S.A.
APPOINTMENT
Isabelle Job-Bazille has been appointed Chief Economist at Crédit Agricole S.A. as of 1 February 2013.
She succeeds Jean-Paul Betbèze, who is retiring.
Jean-Paul Chifflet, Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole S.A. commented: "On behalf of the Crédit Agricole Group, I would like to thank Jean-Paul Betbèze for his many years of dedication and commitment to the Group and to congratulate him on a career that has led him to become a renowned economist".
Isabelle Job-Bazille's previous experience
Isabelle Job-Bazille began her career with Paribas in 1997 as a country risk analyst for the Middle-East-Africa region.
She joined Crédit Agricole S.A. in September 2000 as an economist specialising in Japan and Asia before being appointed head of the Macroeconomics division in May 2005.
From 2007 to 2011, she worked with Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Banking's Capital Markets Research teams, first in Paris and then in London, whilst continuing her responsibilities within Crédit Agricole S.A.
Since September 2012, she has been a member of the Board of Directors of Predica.
Isabelle holds a doctorate in Economics from the University of Paris X Nanterre.
