Paris, 23 February 2010 - The Board of Directors of Predica has appointed Jérôme Grivet as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 September 2010. He will report to Bernard Michel, CEO of Crédit Agricole Assurances, which combines all Crédit Agricole Group's insurance subsidiaries (life, non-life and creditor insurance) in France and internationally.
Jérôme Grivet, 47, began his career with the French finance ministry. He was advisor to the staff of Alain Juppé, France's prime minister from 1995 to 1997. In 1998 he joined Crédit Lyonnais, first as chief financial officer for retail banking operations in France, then as director of strategy. He was a member of the executive committee of Calyon from its inception in 2004, and in September 2007 was appointed deputy chief executive officer. He is also a member of Crédit Agricole S.A.'s executive committee.
Jérôme Grivet is a graduate of ESSEC, Sciences Po and Ecole Nationale d'Administration. He has also served as a senior Treasury auditor.
