Pacifica extends farm insurance cover to equestrian activities
Pacifica, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole Assurances, is offering comprehensive cover for the world of horse riding by extending its farm insurance solutions to include all equestrian activities.
Pacifica already insures horse breeders. The company is now extending protection to all equestrian activities classified as agricultural activities under the Act of 23 February 2005, namely:
• Riding centres
• Trainers
• Stables
• Equestrian tourism (trail-riding, events).
Pacifica is providing a new kind of protection by including additional coverage, such as:
• insurance for outdoor riding arenas against, for example, storm damage
• personal accident insurance to cover unlicensed riders.
Policyholders benefit from Pacifica's expertise in providing insurance for farming-related risks, including protection for buildings, facilities and equipment, while also getting coverage for the specific risks of their activity, notably liability and accident insurance.
