At its meeting on 21 January 2010, the Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole S.A. co-opted Philippe Brassac as a Director, and appointed him Deputy-Chairman of the Board.
The Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole S.A. co-opted Philippe Brassac as a Director of Crédit Agricole S.A. to replace Jean-Paul Chifflet, who is to become Group Chief Executive Officer on 1 March 2010. Philippe Brassac has also been appointed Deputy-Chairman of the Board of Directors. The Annual General Meeting of shareholders will be asked to approve the co-opting of Philippe Brassac on 19 May.
Philippe Brassac is Chief Executive Officer of the Caisse Régionale Provence Côte d'Azur. He was elected Secretary General of the Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole on 7 January 2010 and is also Deputy-Chairman of Rue La Boétie SAS.
