At its meeting today, the Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole CIB, upon the recommendation of Patrick Valroff, CEO, appointed Pierre Cambefort as Deputy CEO of Crédit Agricole CIB effective 1st September 2010. Pierre Cambefort will replace Jérôme Grivet beside Alain Massiera, Deputy CEO of Crédit Agricole CIB since August 2007. Pierre Cambefort was previously Deputy CEO of Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole Centre-Est. He will join Crédit Agricole CIB the 1st of March 2010.
Pierre Cambefort started his career in the Crédit Agricole Group in 1990, first in Caisse Nationale de Crédit Agricole, in the Inspection Générale and Audit department until 1995 and then, from 1995 through 2003, in Crédit Agricole d'Ile de France where he was manager of credit development, then Head of Marketing and Communication. After two years as Head of retail market at Crédit Agricole SA (2004-2005), he was appointed Deputy CEO of Caisse Régionale de Crédit Agricole Centre-Est in 2006.
Aged 45, Pierre Cambefort is a graduate from Stanford University and an Engineer from Ecole Supérieure de Physique et Chimie in Paris.
