Pierre Guillemet took up his post as Head of Group IT and Industrialisation Platform at Crédit Agricole S.A. on 31 March 2008. He had previously served as Head of Information Systems and Banking Processing at Calyon since September 2004.
Mr Guillemet, 50, began his career in 1980 at CIC Paris before moving in 1985 to SCT Brunoy, a Crédit Agricole subsidiary specialised in back office and IT services. He served successively as Director of Information Technology, Deputy Director of Operations and then Chief Executive Officer.
From 2002 to 2004, he was Chief Executive of Euro Securities Partners (SAS), a subsidiary jointly owned by BNP Paribas and Crédit Agricole, where he managed the IT securities custody platform for the two groups' retail and private banking businesses.
Pierre Guillemet is a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Paris.
