APPOINTMENT

Laurent Bennet has been appointed Head of Agriculture, Agrifood and Business Services, reporting to Crédit Agricole S.A.'s Deputy Managing Director in charge of the Development, Client and Innovation function. His appointment will take effect on 14 March 2016, and he is joining the expanded Executive Committee.

Biography

After starting his career working for a farmers' association, Laurent Bennet has spent most of his career at Crédit Agricole, firstly at the Morbihan Regional Bank as a manager for business customers, then as head of the agriculture market and deputy head of lending. In 2004, he joined the Pyrénées Gascogne Regional Bank, where he held several positions, including head of business customers and head of the network. In 2009, he was made Deputy Managing Director of the Savoie Regional Bank. Since 2013, he has been deputy head of Group Risk Management and Permanent Controls at Crédit Agricole S.A.

Laurent Bennet is 50 years old and a graduate of AgroParisTech and the Institut Technique de Banque.
