Crédit Agricole announces the launch of Crédit Agricole Deutschland
Crédit Agricole accelerates its growth in Germany with the launch of Crédit Agricole Deutschland
This launch is part of Crédit Agricole S.A.’s ACT 2028 medium-term plan, which aims to accelerate the Group’s growth, expand its reach in Europe and deploy its universal banking model. Germany, as Europe’s largest economy and one of the continent’s largest savings markets, is a priority market for the Group.
Over more than seven decades, Crédit Agricole has developed a broad range of businesses in Germany serving retail, corporate and institutional customers. Crédit Agricole Deutschland marks the next stage of this development opening the Group’s solutions to German retail customers through a best-in-class digital experience, enhanced by AI and backed by accessible local human support.
Crédit Agricole Deutschland will build on an existing base of around one million retail customers in Germany and the understanding of their needs and expectations gained through the Group's presence in the country.
The new universal bank will be a key lever in the Group’s ambition to double its customer base across its German businesses to two million by the end of 2028.
