A loyal supporter of the Tour de France since 1981 and official partner of the Yellow Jersey since 1987, LCL once again took part in the 112th edition of “La Grande Boucle,” considered the most prestigious cycling race in the world. For this all-French Tour—the first since 2020—participants lined up on the starting line on July 5 in Lille Métropole and finished in Paris on July 27. Riders covered more than 3,000 km, ending with three climbs up Montmartre hill, the highest point in Paris, before celebrating 50 years of the race’s finish on the Champs-Élysées.
LCL and the Tour de France: a long-standing commitment
LCL has been a loyal supporter of the Tour de France since 1981 and the official Yellow Jersey partner since 1987. This enduring commitment makes LCL the longest-standing sponsor of the event, which is the third-largest sporting event in the world.

Branches and teams mobilised
LCL welcomed clients at the Start and Finish villages of each stage. LCL guests enjoyed a truly exceptional experience.
Branches were decorated in Tour de France colors with posters, pennants, and balloons. Clients and their children could also join the celebration with eco-friendly goodies and contests.
Dynamic point-of-sale displays and special messaging on ATMs completed the in-branch setup.
LCL also promoted the event daily on social media and its dedicated Tour de France website. An influencer campaign took place during the Lille stage: 8 influencers spent the day on the Tour ahead of the race.
LCL supports the Tour de France Femmes
July 26 marked the penultimate stage of the men’s race and the start of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift*. Since 2022, LCL has also sponsored the Yellow Jersey for the women’s race. The 2025 edition was contested over nine days for the first time. On July 26, the peloton departed from Vannes in Brittany, with the final finish on August 3 in Châtel, Haute-Savoie. A total of 154 riders covered 1,165 km.

A caravan close to the public
A staple of the Tour since 1930, the publicity caravan precedes the peloton during the opening parade. Along the Tour’s route, it brings joy to children and adults alike and is nearly as anticipated as the riders themselves. Made up of vehicles from event partners, it is an integral part of the Tour.
The LCL Caravan, which updated its visual identity and structure in 2024, consists of 7 vehicles and allows caravan staff to interact more closely with the public.
It is recognisable by its giant Yellow Jersey cyclist and its giant lion mascot, the symbol of LCL.
The Yellow Jersey for Entrepreneurs
For the fifth year, LCL highlighted the dynamism of its business and professional clients by symbolically awarding a “Yellow Jersey for Entrepreneurs” in each stage city. Every day, an LCL client from the region took the podium in the Tour village to be honored and participate in the stage’s start village during the jersey presentation.
21 entrepreneurs were selected by LCL to showcase their commitment to CSR, innovation, or commercial dynamism in their region. Their profiles were featured daily on the LCL website, social media, and in the newspaper L’Équipe.
Special offers for clients
During the Tour, LCL launched a new campaign for clients through July 31, including a major contest to bet on the winning rider and win great prizes!
Additionally, specific offers were available for individuals and professionals:
- Welcome offer: up to €160
- Family offer: up to €420
- First child savings account: €50
- Referral offer: €50
A more sustainable Tour de France
For over 10 years, the Tour de France and its partners have been committed to a sustainable and eco-responsible Tour. As part of this, LCL offset 100% of the direct carbon emissions produced by the event by supporting sustainable reforestation programs through low-carbon labels in France.
The yellow caps distributed along the route and at finish lines were made in Turkey from recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate). Also, 7 vehicles in LCL’s Tour fleet are plug-in hybrids.
