Crédit Agricole des Savoie has become the region’s first private-sector partner to support the 2027 UCI Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc World Cycling Championships.

Éric Vial, Chairman of Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole, Crédit Agricole S.A. and Crédit Agricole des Savoie, officially announced this major partnership on 24 April. He was joined by Laurent Bennet, CEO of Crédit Agricole des Savoie, Michel Callot, President of the French Cycling Federation, Bernard Hinault, ambassador for the event, and Martial Saddier, President of the Departmental Council of Haute-Savoie.

This global sporting event will bring together over 10,000 athletes from 130 nations at 12 iconic locations in Haute-Savoie for the 13-day competition, which will run from 24 August to 5 September 2027.

Crédit Agricole des Savoie intends to be more than just a sponsor, mobilising support across the region and sharing the event with the wider Savoy area to help accelerate the ecological, societal and economic transitions. Its ambition is clear: to bring these championships to life and promote shared values on the ground, in branches, with customers, partners and local stakeholders, as wall as making sure the local economy is able to enjoy the economic benefits of the championships.

This historic commitment is the largest partnership ever entered into by the Regional Bank.
