Crédit Agricole Solidarité et Développement and Crédit Agricole Pays de France, foundations of public utility, have been working for 10 and 45 years respectively to shape the regions and support local and solidarity-based initiatives.

On 10 December, at the French National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts, the Group’s two national foundations celebrated their anniversaries and paid tribute to the directors and the many public interest structures they supported.

Created in 2014, the Crédit Agricole Solidarity and Development Foundation serves the socio-economic autonomy of disadvantaged people.

More specifically, it acts as a complement to the 39 Regional Banks of Crédit Agricole, Crédit Agricole S.A. and nine Group subsidiaries in four areas: social inclusion, economic and professional integration, housing and health/well-ageing. It can also develop multi-annual partnerships of national scope to support network-head structures operating throughout the country. The agreement signed with the Habitat and Humanism Federation is a recent example of this.

Since 2016, the foundation has been organizing a national call for proposals on the theme of health and offers the winners, in addition to a grant, extra-financial support.

Since its creation, the Foundation has supported more than 800 projects for a cumulative amount of more than €21 million.

As one of the first corporate foundations recognised as being of public utility, the Crédit Agricole - Pays de France Foundation has been dedicated to serving the public patrimony since 1979.

Since its creation, the Crédit Agricole - Pays de France Foundation has been involved with the 39 Regional Banks, Crédit Agricole S.A. and nine subsidiaries, with local authorities, associations of general interest and all those who are convinced that preserving, restoring and highlighting a monument, a natural site, a memorial site, a profession, contributes to the vitality of the economic and social fabric. Its interventions cover a wide range of fields: built heritage, artistic heritage, museums, natural heritage, local animation, industrial, agricultural and maritime heritage. Over the past 45 years, it has supported more than 1,800 projects for €38 million.

55 years celebrated at the National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts

On 10 December, the two Foundations celebrated their anniversary in the presence of around 100 representatives of the structures of public interest that they supported, Crédit Agricole executives and patronage, heritage and solidarity organizations. Through speeches, videos and a photo exhibition, guests were able to discover the diversity of projects supported since 1979 and 2014, highlighting the actors of public interest that shape our territories and contribute to their dynamism. Meet My Mamma, a charitable and responsible caterer, honoured two female chefs who came to showcase their traditional culinary skills.
