On 24 May, on the fringes of the finals of the Gambardella Cup and the French Football Cup, of which Crédit Agricole is a longstanding partner, Olivier Gavalda, CEO of Crédit Agricole S.A., and Philippe Diallo, Chairman of the French Football Federation, officially revealed the new name of the French Football Cup: the Coupe de France-Crédit Agricole (Crédit Agricole French Cup).

Crédit Agricole thus becomes the first “title partner” of this iconic nationwide competition so beloved of the French. Being associated with the name of this tournament consolidates Crédit Agricole’s position as a key partner of football.

This strategic partnership, which will run for the next three seasons, is an opportunity for Crédit Agricole to significantly strengthen its longstanding commitment to amateur football – a powerful symbol fully aligned with the Group’s local presence and deep commitment to the sport’s values.

A major partner of the French Football Federation, Crédit Agricole also supports the French Women’s Cup as well as the French national teams (men, women and under-21s).

The Coupe de France is the only competition that brings together clubs from all regions of France and all statuses. Becoming the title partner represents a strong symbol, perfectly aligned with our territorial roots and our deep attachment to the values of amateur football.
